Lead Rails Developer
Candidates with strong PHP/MySQL programming, organizational and communications skills:
Qualifications:
- Agile lead developer with good communication and attention to details
- Has expert programming skills in Ruby, Python, and/or PHP
- Uses preferably git and/or svn
- Has strong command of SQL (preferably PostgreSQL and/or MySQL)
- Plays around with Linux
- Has expert understanding and experience with MVC frameworks (Rubyon Rails, Django, Cake, Symfony, Zend)
- Has decent familiarity with HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax/Comet
- Has a good understanding of modern web standards such as RSS/Atom,JSON, RESTful, OpenSearch, etc
Experience with the following technologies is a plus: {Google Maps, AWS (EC2, S3, SDB, SQS, FPS), PayPal, Google Checkout, SEO, OpenSocial, Google AppEngine, SWFUpload}
Senior Web Developer
Candidates with strong Ruby/MySQL programming, organizational and communications skills:
Qualifications:
- 4+ years Web programming with atleast 2-years in Ruby
- 1+ years PHP5/J2EE/PERL experience
- Understanding of basic object oriented programming concepts
- MySQL 4 & 5
- Has strong knowledge of a templating engine (ideally, Smarty)
- 2+ years experience with Javascript, AJAX, CSS & XHTML
- Understands concept of database normalization
